In the UK, nutrition coaching is still relatively new and hasn't yet gained the popularity that personal training enjoys. My journey has begun by learning the wisdom of Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition, where I've learned how herbs and spices can profoundly impact health. This knowledge, combined with a deep appreciation for the culinary traditions and wisdom passed down through various cultures, has shaped my approach to nutrition coaching and had at a foundation of my own lifestyle. My own introduction to nutrition coaching came whilst studying Health Coaching and Nutrition, thanks to my inspirational tutors which truly broadened my perspective and for which I am immensely grateful.

So, why might you need a nutrition coach?

Just as we seek out personal trainers to enhance our fitness, even though we know how to be active, the same logic applies to our diet. We all know how to eat, but when our diet or weight prevents us from feeling our best, it’s wise to seek expert guidance. This is especially true if you’ve spent years in a cycle of losing and gaining weight, trying one "miracle" diet after another, only to be let down time and again because these diets never address the core habits, thoughts, and behaviours driving overeating or unhealthy eating patterns.

I work with clients who face a wide range of nutritional challenges—from managing high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, or PCOS, to regaining their diet to support their fertility and balancing hormones or transitioning to a healthier plant-based diet. My own struggles with dieting whilst struggling with autoimmune condition and passion for bodybuilding led me to specialise in helping others break the cycle of yo-yo dieting, and regulate hormones and digestion and achieve the sustainable, bodyweight that has felt so elusive.
